JI gives Govt six months deadline

LAHORE—Amir Jamat-i-Islami, Qazi Hussain Ahmed Friday said his party will wait for six months during which the newly elected government should be able to fulfill its promises including those of ensuring restoration of judiciary, supremacy of parliament and arrest of price hike.
Addressing the Central Executive Council of National Labour Federation here, Qazi Hussain said the judges could be restored through issuance of single executive order. He urged the labour leaders to launch a combined struggle for setting labourers free from the clutches of exploitative elements.
