JI gives Govt six months deadline
LAHORE—Amir Jamat-i-Islami, Qazi Hussain Ahmed Friday said his party
will wait for six months during which the newly elected government
should be able to fulfill its promises including those of ensuring
restoration of judiciary, supremacy of parliament and arrest of price
hike.
Addressing the Central Executive Council of National Labour Federation
here, Qazi Hussain said the judges could be restored through issuance of
single executive order. He urged the labour leaders to launch a combined
struggle for setting labourers free from the clutches of exploitative
elements.
