SHOs directed to collect record of religious places

ISLAMABAD—Islamabad Capital Police has started collecting record of religious places including mosques, madrassah, Imambargah and churches in Islamabad.
According to data, there are 750 mosques and Imambargahs while 21 churches in vicinity Federal Capital. All the Station House Officer (SHO) received a performa from office of Superintendent Police (SP) Crime Investigation Department (CID), directing them to fulfill it by submitting complete record of religious places in Islamabad.
The SHOs have also been directed to submit it before the SP CID, sources said. Name of prayer leader of mosque, address, source of income, name of administrative department of mosque and information regarding residence of Khadim and prayer leader adjacent to mosque are included in the performa.
