Rawal Town admin set to demolish 200 houses

RAWALPINDI—In order to open “Band Khanna Road” after a long time, the administration of Rawal town has issued evacuation notices to more than 200 people living alongside the Kuri Road graveyard as the area falls under the Project.
After receiving notice, the dwellers of the area held protest demonstration, demanding relevant authorities to provide alternate place for living to them otherwise they would not evacuate their houses. They said that the administration want to link Kuri Road near to road adjacent to ASF Chowk by opening Band Khanna road but the administration could save the houses of 200 people if it removes gate of ASF. They made it clear that they would not evacuate their houses and would commit suicide outside the Parliament house if the administration tries to evacuate their houses forcefully.
