 Developmental works hit snags in Capital’s remote areas

ISLAMABAD—Ongoing developmental projects of local government and rural development have not been completed yet in Capital, while the public has also expressed dissatisfaction over the completed projects.
Rural development institution of district administration only completed 60 % development work of 13 projects out of 60.According to statistics depart ment, district administration approved 30 big projects with a worth of Rs 294 million for the construction of the roads and to cemented the streets in the 12 union councils of Federal Capital.
In the maiden 9 months, local rural development only completed 60 % work of 13 projects with a worth of Rs 500 million, while only 30% of the work has been completed on the 17 approved projects for the rural development.
