Mazhar-ul-Haq acquitted

KARACHI—The judge of an Accountability Court, Maqbool Rizvi has acquitted Parliamentary Leader of Pakistan Peoples Party in Sindh, Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq from two references of misusing of power and on corruption charges. These two references were filed against Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq in 1997 by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). Lawyer of Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq, Shahdat Awan while talking to media men told that the references which were filed against him (Mazhar-ul-Haq ) is the example of political vendetta and his acquittal from these two references is a moral victory for him.
