Fazal calls for elimination of US interference

MULTAN—Secretary General MMA and head of JUI-F, Maulana Fazal ur Rehman has said that US interference in the affairs of the government has increased the problems for the government of Pakistan.
He expressed these views while addressing a press conference here in the Central Office of Khatm-e-Nabowat on Sunday evening. Maulana Fazl ur Rehman has termed the newly formed government as the National government and said that in the past our economic policies and foreign polices were influenced by USA.
He said that establishment of the recent government is the result of the efforts of the All Parties Democratic Alliance (APDM). Maulana Fazl ur Rehman further said that government is facing several challenges but it would make every possible effort to solve the people’s problems on priority basis. He said that new government is the government of people’s democratic alliance, which came into being after reconciliation of all polities’ parties. He hoped that it would legislate free economic and foreign polices to curb the US interference in Pakistan.
In response to a question he said that if the new government can carry out the investigation of Benazir Bhutto from United Nations then it can also conduct the investigation of Jamia Hafsa from High Commission. He said that affairs of madarasas have already been settled. He also proposed that government should solve the issues of FATA, Balochistan and Wana through dialogue.
