Fazal calls for elimination of US interference
MULTAN—Secretary General MMA and head of JUI-F, Maulana Fazal ur Rehman
has said that US interference in the affairs of the government has
increased the problems for the government of Pakistan.
He expressed these views while addressing a press conference here in the
Central Office of Khatm-e-Nabowat on Sunday evening. Maulana Fazl ur
Rehman has termed the newly formed government as the National government
and said that in the past our economic policies and foreign polices were
influenced by USA.
He said that establishment of the recent government is the result of the
efforts of the All Parties Democratic Alliance (APDM). Maulana Fazl ur
Rehman further said that government is facing several challenges but it
would make every possible effort to solve the people’s problems on
priority basis. He said that new government is the government of
people’s democratic alliance, which came into being after reconciliation
of all polities’ parties. He hoped that it would legislate free economic
and foreign polices to curb the US interference in Pakistan.
In response to a question he said that if the new government can carry
out the investigation of Benazir Bhutto from United Nations then it can
also conduct the investigation of Jamia Hafsa from High Commission. He
said that affairs of madarasas have already been settled. He also
proposed that government should solve the issues of FATA, Balochistan
and Wana through dialogue.
