58 dead bodies recovered from Kohat

KOHAT—The security forces have found fifty eight bodies of people who lost their lives during 6 days sectarian violence in District Kohat, as temporary ceasefire between Mishti and Kachai tribes are underway.
7 women and 6 children were also among the deceased. District Nazim Hangu belongs to Mishi tribe Khan Afzal told BBC on Sunday that the security forces alongwith both rivals had started work to found dead bodies from trenches and fields two days earlier.
The security forces have found dead bodies of 28 people of Mishi tribe, he said, adding that, 15 people out of 28 were killed during firing at Jirga. Most of the people, he said, have been laid to rest.
On the other hand, the Mishti tribe has handed over vital Lotang trench of Kachai tribe to security forces. Upto 17 people of Kachi tribe lost their lives in Lotang trench. Union Council Nazim Astarzai Syed Mehtab Khan told BBC that the security forces found bodies of 30 people belong to Kachai tribe from affected houses and trenches. According to him, both rivals have handed over trenches to security forces.
