Charas worth Rs 2 crores impounded

KARACHI—The Provincial intelligence division of directorate of Excise and Taxation conducted a successful raid on a Toyota van carrying more than two maund of high quality charas on RCD highway, A team specially formed by the Provincial intelligence officer Najam-Ul-Hassan Wasti, on the directives of director general Excise and Taxation Sindh, Asif Marghoob Siddiqui, headed by AET Duad Kolachi, and inspector Ejaz Baloch and others managed to impound high quality charas worth Rs. 2 crores from secret compartments of the intercepted Toyota Van. The charas was being smuggled into Karachi from Quetta, and a case has been registered against the culprits. Many arrests are expected.
