Council to formulate unanimous policies: Ch Nisar

ISLAMABAD—A Council of Leadership of Parties will be constituted to formulate unanimous policies aimed at addressing major issues confronting by the country.
The Council comprising PPP Co-Chairperson, Asif Ali Zardari, PML (N) Head, Mian Nawaz Sharif, ANP Chief, Asfandyar Wali and JUI (F) Chief, Maulana Fazal ur Rehman, will discuss issues and suggest ways and means for their redressal, PML (N) Central Leader, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Saturday.
Talking to mediapersons outside the Parliament House after vote of confidence to the Prime Minister, he said the priorities set by the leader of the house will be implemented in letter and spirit.
Appreciating the removal of FCR, he said the step will improve law and order situation in the Federally Administrative Tribal Areas (FATA) besides bringing about development and prosperity.
The decisions will be taken after consultations with armed forces, frontier force and keeping in view the ground realities in Tribal regions, he added.
About house-arrest of renowned nuclear scientist, Dr. Qadir Khan, he said his party was very clear on this issue.
Regarding vote of confidence to prime minister by the opposition parties, he said these parties should support the treasury in strengthening democratic system and take practical steps in this regard.
About restoration of judiciary, he hoped the issue will be resolved amicably.
