LPG price cut to Rs 53.50 per kilo
KARACHI—LPG marketing companies have again reduced prices of liquified
petroleum gas (LPG) by Rs 1.5 to Rs 53.50 a kilogramme and 11.8
kilogramme domestic cylinder by Rs 15 to Rs 565. This is the second fall
in the price of LPG in the last five days. Marketing companies had
earlier slashed LPG price by Rs 1.5 per kilo on March 24. According to
chairman of LPG Distributors Association Hadi Khan here Monday, LPG
marketing companies have reduced prices in a bid to increase the sale of
LPG. He pointed out that price of 45.4 kg cylinder has been decreased by
Rs 60 to Rs 2,160 in the city. Hadi noted that the sale of LPG has
declined by 60 percent in the last three weeks, mostly because of
