DSP, two constables kidnapped

MASTUNG—A DSP and his two gunmen have been abducted in Dasht area of Mastung district (some 28 kilometres from Quetta) in wee hours on Thursday, Mastung police told APP.
DSP Arshad and his two gunmen constables Deen Muhammad and Noor Muhammad were in Dasht area on duty when kidnappers abducted them and shifted to some unknown location. Mastung police raided a house at Wednesday late night and arrested a suspected anti-social element Abdul Hameed and recovered two Kalashnikovs, one shotgun and two stolen motorcycles from his possession.
Following the arrest Hameed, his accomplices kidnapped the DSP and his two gunmen. Mastung police have cordoned off the area and started search for recovery of the abducted police official and his gunmen in the area.
