Rehman Malik appointed Interior Advisor

ISLAMABAD—A. Rehman Malik has been appointed as advisor to the Prime Minister on Interior and Narcotics with immediate effect.
His status will be equal to the federal minister. According to official notification issued here Thursday,the President has appointed him on this post in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by clause (1) of the Article 93 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and on the advice of Prime Minister.
