Justice Iftikhar condoles with Zardari

ISLAMABAD—The deposed Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry called on Co-Chairman PPPP, Asif Ali Zardari and condoled death of the Benazir Bhutto.
According to details, a delegation of deposed Judges headed by Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and including Tariq Pervez, Justice Shah Jehan, Justice A Malik, Ali Ahmad Kurd, Rashid A Rizvi, Sardar Asmat ullah Niazi, Zammarud Khan, Amir Fida and large number lawyers met Asif Ali Zardari here on Thursday.
Sources told that after condoling the death of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, both Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and Asif Ali Zardari held meeting in a cordial atmosphere, which lasted for half an hour. Both Asif and Iftikhar Chaudhry avoided political and judiciary issues and rather offered fateha (condolence prayers) for the departed soul of Ms. Bhutto.
Asif Ali Zardari also thanked the Chief Justice and lawyers for condoling the death of Benazir Bhutto. After the meeting, Chief Justice returned to his residence along with Ali Ahmad Kurd, Athar Min Ullah and Aitzaz Ahsan.
Responding to a question he said the two major political parties through Murree declaration had promised to reinstate deposed judges within 30 days.
