Student can play vital role for independence of judiciary, says Ramday

ISLAMABAD—Deposed Justice Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday has said that the students can play vital role to create awareness among the masses regarding access to justice, besides independence of judiciary.
The system based on injustice forces the people to rebel while justice to common people without any hindrance is most important part of alive society, he said this while talking to three-member delegation of Jamiat Talba-e-Islam here in his residence on Wednesday.
The delegation was comprised on Nazim Jamiat Talba-e-Islam Lahore Abdul Basit, Nazim Circle Muhammad Ahmed and Secretary Information Umar Awan. Speaking on the occasion, Deposed Justice Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday added that the students could play vital role for independence, democratic, ideological and sovereign Pakistan in future. The students, Ramday said, can also put the nation at right path under current circumstances, adding that, the legal fraternity, students, political parties, and civil society played key role in struggle against dictatorship in the country.
He asked students not to accept dictatorship at any cost. The students paid great tribute to deposed Justice Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday over his clear stance before the dictator. The delegation demanded new government to release national hero Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan.
Nazim Jamiat Talba-e-Islam Lahore Abdul Basit assured deposed Justice Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday that they would continue their movement till reinstatement of all deposed judges who refused to take oath under Provisional Constitutional Order (PCO).
