UAE, Bangladesh leaders greet Gillani 

ISLAMABAD—Extending their congratulations to Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani on his election as Prime Minister of Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates and Dr. Fakhruddin Ahmed, Chief Advisor of Bangladesh have expressed their desire to upscale the political and economic relations to the highest level. The Ambassador of UAE to Pakistan Ali Mohammed Al-Shamsi in a statement issued here said, the leaders of UAE have said that their country wants stability and progress in Pakistan. He said the UAE rulers have also assured its full cooperation for building strong economic and trade partnership for the mutual benefit of both countries. The ambassador said, UAE has already invested over 20 billion dollars in Pakistan and encouraged its investors to a target of US Dollar 100 billion.—Online
