Fahim won’t accept ministry
Islamabad—Senior PPP leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim, who was initially
considered the front runner for the post of Prime Minister before Syed
Yousaf Raza Gillani was nominated by his party, has said that he would
accept no portfolio in the new government.
Amin Fahim categorically ruled out any role for himself in the new
Gillani government, reported a private TV channel.
Responding to a question about the inclusion of his son in the new Sindh
government, he said no decision had yet been made. When asked about his
resignation from the office of president of ARD, he said the objective
of ARD was over after the restoration of democracy.
