Islamabad police issues guidelines of friendly policing

ISLAMABAD—With a view to inculcate the culture of friendly policing in Capital, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police has launched a hand book carrying guidelines for its officials .
The handbook has guidelines for all officials especially for young recruits. It includes rules for duty, role of reconciliatory committees, ethical values on conversation, physical training, sports, departmental promotion, human rights, different duties of police and important sections of the law. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Shahid Nadeem Baloch on Tuesday formally launched this book “ Guiding Principles for Recruits”.
The book would be distributed among police officers andrecruits so that they could make use of it and take guideline from it to ensure friendly police ecology.
The ceremony was attended among others by SSP(Operations) Syed Kaleem Imam, AIG Tariq Masood Yaseen, SSP (Traffic) Zubair Ahmed Hashmi, AIG Special Branch Tahir Alam, SP (West) Dr. Moeen Masood, DSPs Ejaz ul Hasnain, Nawaz Jora, Incharge Rescue 15 Musarrat Ali Khan and Station House of MargallaPolice station Naeem Iqbal.
Meanwhile, Incharge Rescue 15 also presented wall/tablecalendars to the IGP and SSP which reflect the aspects of police service, their training and action.
