Raza Rabbani resigns as Senate Opp leader

ISLAMABAD—Opposition leader in the Senate, Senator Raza Rabbani has resigned from his position on Sunday.
According to details, Senator Raza Rabbani tendered resignation after consultation with coalition partners. According to sources, after the resignation of Wasim Sajjad as House of Leader, Raza Rabbani is likely to become the new House of Leader in the Senate. It is relevant to mention that Pakistan Peoples Party, Pakistan Muslim League-N and Awami National Party have clear majority in the National Assembly and earlier, all these parties played role of Opposition in the Senate.
