Pakistan Day celebrated overseas

ISLAMABAD—Pakistani embassies in different capitals of the world on Sunday celebrated Pakistan Day with great fervour and enthusiasm. According to reports received here, embassies in Ankara, Tehran, Paris and Bucharest held functions to mark the auspicious day. The respective ambassadors in these countries hoisted Pakistani flags and the messages of the President and the Prime Minister were also read out on the occasion. The ceremonies were followed by receptions attended by a large number of Pakistanis and local elite and government officials.—Agencies
