Pir Naqib highlights importance of Eid Milad

RAWALPINDI—The blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awwal demands of the Muslims to lead their lives in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).
Pir Muhammad Naqib-ur-Rehman, custodian of Eidgah shrine, stated this while addressing a congregation as part of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) celebrations at Eidgah Sharif. High Education Commission Chairman Prof Dr Attaur Rehman was the chief guest on the occasion.
The custodian of Eidgah shrine advised the audience to pledge on the auspicious occasion of Eid Milad to follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) in their individual and collective life in the letter and spirit. He said that it could revolutionise the life of Muslims.
“It is the need of the hour that we strengthen our bond with the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). The Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) was sent by Almighty Allah to this world as a blessing for the whole humanity and universe. Only Islam can guarantee peace and security in the world but propagation of the true message of Islam is necessary to achieve this objective,” Pir Naqib-ur-Rehman said.
“The lovers of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) will be celebrating His birth anniversary till the Doomsday,” he added.
Allama Syed Arif Shah Gillani, Mufti Muhammad Suleman Rizvi, Maulana Ghulam Ali Qamar, Maulana Qari Maula Bakhsh, Hafiz Iqbal Rizvi, Maulana Salim Habib, Maulana Salim Shahzad and Allama Bashir Ahmed Sialvi were prominent among others, who addressed the congregation.
On the occasion, Sahibzada Muhammad Hassan Hasib-ur-Rehman presented a ‘Naat’.
In the end, Pir Naqib-ur-Rehman prayed for the unity among Muslims, progress, prosperity and solidarity of Pakistan and liberation of Kashmir and Palestine.
