Senator Kennedy congratulates Zardari

ISLAMABAD—The US Senator Edward M. Kennedy of the Democratic Party has felicitated Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party, Senator Asif Ali Zardari on his efforts for government formation in Pakistan. Senator Kennedy in a letter addressed to the Co-Chairman PPP, wrote, “Warmest congratulations on your work to form a new government. I know Benazir would have been very proud. It saddens me that she could not share this historic moment, but her dream of free and more democratic Pakistan lives on. Well done and best wishes for the years ahead.”
