CDA completes projects in slum areas
ISLAMABAD—Under the policy of Federal Government, the Capital
Development Authority (CDA) has completed several developmental projects
in the slum areas of the capital aimed to provide more facilities to
dwellers.
According to sources of CDA, Rs worth of 31.102 million have been
allocated in the meeting of CDA Board and Development Working Party for
the developmental projects of Junejo colony model village Tarlai.
Sources also told that electricity, Sui Gas, water and other facilities
have been provided to slum areas of the Capital. A new project with the
cooperation of Turkey is also under consideration to improve the
condition of these slum areas, sources added.
