Imran Khan’s father passes away

LAHORE—Ikramullah Khan Niazi,father of Chairman, Pakistan Tehrik Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan died here after protracted illness on Wednesday.
He was 85. The funeral prayer will be held here at Zaman Park tomorrow (Thursday) at 9.00 am. Later his body will be transported to his native city Mianwali for burial.
Caretaker Prime Minister Mohammedmian Soomro on Wednesday expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Ikram Ullah Niazi father of Imran Khan, Chairman Tehrik-e-Insaf.
In his condolence message to Imran Khan the Caretaker Prime Minister expressed heartfelt condolences and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace. The Caretaker Prime Minister also prayed for grant of courage and fortitude to all members of the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
