Work on 9th Avenue causing inconvenience

ISLAMABAD—Despite the inauguration of 9th Avenue, the construction work is continued due to poor planning of Engineering Department of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) causing immense inconvenience to the citizens.
The citizens while expressing concern over the situation said that due to on-going construction work they are suffering from ear, nose and throat diseases. The pedestrians said that the unavailability of protection grills on the Avenue also posing immense danger to their lives specially children and several incidents were reported in this regard.
It may be recalled that Chairman CDA, Kamran Lashari has inaugurated 9 kilometer long road on February 24 but the construction work is still continued.—Agencies
