Aitzaz Ahsan has said that summoning of the full bench court is totally illegal and no amendment has been made in the constitution with the approval of the two third majority of the Parliament House. “Justice Faqir Muhammad Khokkhar in his decision had said that SC cannot interfere in the affairs of the Parliament”, Aitzaz added.
Aitzaz Ahsan also threatened to boycott the court proceedings if the SC issued stay order in this connection. He also requested and appealed to the lawyers and barristers of Islamabad and Rawalpindi Bar not to have meeting with ousted judges even in extreme situations. He also vowed that ousted Chief Justice would definitely address the Rawalpindi, Gujarat, Jhelum and Abbottabad Bar Associations.
Following filing of a petition in the Supreme Court on Monday against the reinstatement of deposed judges through the Parliament, President Supreme Court Bar Association, Aitzaaz Ahsan said legislators are not bound to obey any stay order passed on such petitions.

Aitzaz said the countdown for the restoration of judges continues, adding that lawyers will not create any disturbances during the formation of the new government.
He said judges who have taken oath under the PCO are also subject to Article 190 and that they can’t judge a petition, which involves their own interests.
The lawyers continued token boycott of courts on Monday, and sat up camp at the LHC to protest the dismissal of judges of the superior courts.
Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) and Lahore District Bar Association (LDBA) observed a token boycott of courts for one hour, following the decision of Pakistan Bar Council.
Meanwhile, Save the Judiciary Committee (SJC) staged a protest camp at the Lahore High Court Bar lawn, while LHCBA leaders along with Abdul Rasheed Qureshi president SJC, Mian Jamil Akhtar secretary SJC and a large number of other lawyers attended the camp.
