Dacoits loot gold ornaments

MULTAN—Three armed men allegedly looted gold ornaments weighing 22 tola from a house at Willayatabad colony No 2 here on Monday. Jalilabad police said that three armed men riding a car reached a house and entered it deceptively by telling the female family members that they want to hand over some valuables sent by their relative Akbar from Saudi Arabia. Akbar’s mother Sharifan allowed the men to enter the house and offered them eatables. After some time, the accused took out their weapons and asked the family members to hand over whatever valuables they have.—Online
