Huge quantity of hashish recovered

KARACHI—Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) Friday seized 170 kgs hashish from a Toyota Corolla car at Super Highway, near Al-Asif Square, Karachi. Earlier, PCG officials had received credible information that a large quantity of hashish is being smuggled from Quetta to Karachi. Acting on the tip, the suspect vehicle was intercepted and during checking 170 kgs of hashish was recovered from its secret cavities. Meanwhile, further investigation was underway by PCG’s Special Investigation Team.—Agencies
