NWFP Assembly to meet in new building

ISLAMABAD—The maiden session of NWFP assembly would be held in new state of the art building equipped with all latest facilities constructed with Rs 370 million. According to private TV channel ‘Express News’ owing to the resignation of speaker Bakht Jehan Khan senior most legislature Arbab Ayub Jan will administer the oath of newly elected legislatures. The old assembly building has been converted into library. Meanwhile fool proof security arrangements have been finalised for inaugural session of National Assembly.Constitution avenue here would remain closed on Monday. Unauthorised persons would not be allowed to enter in the premises of the national assembly.—Agencies
