6 injured in hand grenade attack

KOHAT—At least six security personnel were wounded when unidentified persons hurled hand grenade at the police check post at Shakar Darra road. According to details, unidentified persons threw a hand grenade at police check post due to which Imam Hassan, Burhanuddin, Niaz Badshah, Bashir Hussain, Abdur Rehman and Ramzan sustained injuries. The injured were taken to DA Hospital Kohat for medical treatment and two of them are reported to be in critical condition. However, security personnel beefed up the security and started search operation.—Agencies
