Nawaz to perform Umrah
ISLAMABAD—Co-chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari
and Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will pay
a visit to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah, the sources said.
They will visit Saudi Arabia after the formation of the coalition
government in centre and provinces, the sources added. During their
visit, they will hold talks with Saudi Arabia on various important
issues.
They will also pay thanks to Saudi authorities for help to Pakistan in
oil import due to sky rocketing increase in oil prices in international
market.
An informal meeting was held here Thursday between the transition teams
of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan People’s Party at
Parliament House.
The meeting was attended by the members of the PML-N including Senator
Mohammed Ishaq Dar, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan MNA and Khawaja Mohammed
Asif MNA.
Senator Mian Raza Rabbani, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Khurshid Shah, Sherry
Rahman, Syed Naveed Qamar and Senator Farooq Hamid Naek represented the
PPP in the meeting.
The meeting informally discussed the matters pertaining to the coalition
