Shujaat lauds Zardari’s political acumen

ISLAMABAD—The president of PML-Q, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has lauded the prudent political acumen of Zardari, while berating the Egotist politics of Mian Nawaz Sharif.
Talking to a private TV channel, he said that PPPP has earned the mandate of masses and as such had the only right to form a government.
The PML-Q president also categorically announced his refusal to accept Mian Nawaz Sharif as President of Pakistan, and said, “ Refusal of Mian Nawaz Sharif to accept Musharraf as President was Mian Sahib’s own personal whim, but nevertheless President Musharraf was the elected President, who has been administered an oath in Assembly for his post”.
He cautioned about such oncoming efforts to encourage confrontation between judiciary and Parliament, saying that the results would be quite detrimental for Nation.
He said that many resolutions have been passed in Assembly, which have gone without any action or implementation, and strongly denied that PML-Q wanted a re-election, saying it would be equally content with the role of opposition. He also announced PML-Q’s intention to nominate its candidates for the posts of speakers and deputy speakers.
