Ishrat Hussain joins IBA

KARACHI—Former Governor of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Dr. Ishrat Hussain, here on Wednesday joined as the Dean and Director of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi. An announcement to this effect was made by an official of the IBA Karachi. The appointment has been made by the Governor of Sindh, Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan. Dr. Ishrat Hussain replaces Danishmand who has completed his four years’ term as the Director of IBA Karachi in June 2006 but was asked by the Governor of Sindh to continue till further orders, an official of the IBA Karachi said on Wednesday. —Online
