No flyovers, underpass at 9th Avenue causing traffic jam

ISLAMABAD—Owing to non-construction of two flyovers and one underpass, the important and long 9th Avenue constructed recently has lost its benefit for the motorists.
According to details, the 9th Avenue constructed with the total cost of Rs. 1.68 billion with the special interest of Chairman CDA Kamran Lashari. The Chairman CDA at the start of the project had announced that the 9th Avenue would be signal free but surprisingly on the inauguration of the 9th Avenue, he said that the road is not signal free and flyovers would be constructed on Khayaban-e-Kashmir and Jinnah Avenue while underpass be constructed on Peshawar Mor to make it signal free. The citizens while expressing concern over the situation underlined that the on Peshawar Mor traffic jam became routine and the Model Traffic Police is failed to control the situation
