Embassy of Japan organizes painting Exhibition

Islamabad—The embassy of Japan is going to host Japanese paintings Exhibition and Japan-Pakistan children Art Exhibition from 14th March 2008 at the National Art Gallery (PNCA) in Islamabad as a part of the Japan-Pakistan friendship fest 2008.
The events are being organized with the collaboration of Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), THE Asian Cultural Exchange Association ,Tokyo, Pakistan-Japan Cultural Association, Islamabad and Mext Alumni Association of Pakistan (MAAP).
II.E.Mr Seiji Kojitna , the ambassador of Japan to Pakistan , will inaugurate the Japanese paintings exhibition and Japan-Pakistan Children Art Exhibition on 14th March 2008 at the National Art Gallery (PNCA).
The exhibition will remain open for public from 15th to 22nd March 2008 from 10:00a.m to 13:00 hrs and from 14:00 hrs to 17:30 hrs except for Monday 17th March.
In this exhibition, 10 paintings of the Japanese artists will be displayed, which will give the viewers an in depth look into the Japanese artistic trend. Also, 10 paintings of Japanese children and 20 works of calligraphy made by Japanese children will be displayed together with paintings of Pakistani children.
Through these paintings , the viewers will be able to find similarities and differences between the young generation of Japan and Pakistan
