Missing envoy still clueless
Bureau Report

PESAHWAR—Pakistan ambassador to Kabul Aziz-ud-Din who went missing during his en route to Afghanistan could not be recovered despite passage of one month.
According to details, local administration took action against Jhanda Khail Tribe and impounded four vehicles and arrested nine persons of the tribe but to no avail.
Initially, it was reported that the ambassador was kidnapped from the area of Ali Masjid but all reports proved futile.
New reports said that the ambassador was kidnapped from Peshawar rather than Jamrood or Khyber Agency because Pak-Afghan Highway was completely controlled by the authorities.
The reposts revealed that security personnel signalled to stop the vehicle of ambassador at Check Post of Takhta Baig but the vehicle was sped up. It seems that the ambassador was kidnapped from Peshawar and taken to some unidentified place of Khyber Agency.
