Citizens urged to follow traffic rules

RAWALPINDI—Chief Traffic Officer SSP Sabir Ahmed has urged the citizens to follow the traffic rules as it is vital to reduce the chances of traffic accidents.
The Chief Traffic Officer while talking in context with the Traffic Awareness Campaign in a statement said that following the traffic rules is the quality of a civilized society.
He urged the motorists to keep their vehicles in their lanes, adding that the left lane is reserved for the motor cyclists and accidents can be averted if the motor cyclists use the left lane. Chief Traffic Officer has also urged public service transporters to drive vehicles carefully as the speedy vehicles also creating problems for the other traffic. SSP Sabir Ahmed has also urged motorists to use indicators while turning right or left.
