Burney to visit India soon for release of Pakistanis
By Khalid Amin

ISLAMABAD—Federal Minister for Human Rights, Ansar Burni has said that he would visit India soon in order to hold talks with Indian government for the release of all those Pakistanis who are languishing in the Indian jails for the last 30-years.
He cleared that release of the Kashmir Singh came into being purely on the humanitarian grounds and for the upholding of the human rights.
Ansar Burney said that he has been doing this job since last 27 years and the release of Kashmir Singh was not the release of a culprit rather to get the two families united after 35-years.
Pakistani security forces arrested Singh in Rawalpindi in 1973 on charges of spying. He was sentenced to death but that was later reduced to life imprisonment. His stay in various Pakistani prisons seemed unending as he spent 35 years there.
“I did this job to seek blessing of the Al Mighty Allah,” he added. He further said that dead body of the Pakistani national, Khalid alias Azad who died in the Indian Jail would arrived in Pakistan today (Monday).
He also demanded from the Indian government to inform Pakistan about the causes and circumstances in which his death occurred.
He also condoled death of Khalid with his family members and expressed deep shock over loss of precious life.
