Two dispensaries closed due to shortage of funds

RAWALPINDI—Owing to shortage of funds, the Cantonment Board Rawalpindi has closed two dispensaries functioning in Lal Kurti and Dheri Hasanabad. According to details, these dispensaries were providing medial facilities on small scale for the long time and medicines were provided to poor people to deal small diseases like fever. The public and social circles while expressing concern over the closure of the dispensaries have said that the poor people specially the labours often visited these dispensaries to get the medical facilitates. They informed that the dispensary functioning at Mareer Chowk is also at the verge of its closure. —Agencies
