JUI-F to be part of coalition Govt: Fazal

LAHORE—Amir of the JUI-F, Maulana Fazl ur Rehman has said that JUI-F will stand with PPP and PML-N in case of the impeachment of President Musharraf.
Maulana Fazl ur Rehman expressed these views while speaking to the journalists after the meeting of the Markaz-e-Shora of JUI (F) held here in Jamia Madina, situated at Ravi road, reliable sources said on Sunday. He said that parties with heavy mandate have only right of the impeachment of President. And if these parties have decided for impeachment of President then JUI-F will stand with these parties.
Fazl said that talks with Asif Ali Zardari are continuing for the formation of national government. During these dialogue the PPP has accepted the JUI-F’s reservations in principle.
In response to a question about the independence of judiciary and restoration of the ousted judges he said that plea for the reinstatement of the judges is not strong rather it is popular among the masses.
He also criticized the attitude of Amir Jamaat-e-Islami, Qazi Hussain Ahmad and said that it has created rifts among ranks of Jamaat-e-Islami. While talking about the new demands of US, he added that it is a direct attack on the independence and solidarity of Pakistan.
The Markaz-e-Shoora of Jamiat Ulema Islam – F has held its leadership responsible for defeat in the general election 2008 due to its unwise decision.
Markaz-e-Shora of JUI (F) have expressed these views in its meeting held here in Jamia Madina, situated at Rovi road, reliable sources said on Sunday.
