PML-Q to resist moves against President : Shujaat

ISLAMABAD—President of former ruling PML-Q, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has
said PML-Q is majority party in Balochistan, therefore, it is its moral
and democratic right to form government in this province
“We have no lust for power. We are single majority party in Balochistan.
Therefore, it is our moral and democratic right to form government
therein. We will take all along with us whatever decision we take in
Balochistan”, he said this while talking to the media persons after his
meeting with JUI-F delegation in parliament lodges.
The meeting was attended by Mushahid Hussain Sayyed and Kamil Ali Agha
from PML-Q side and Maulana Khan Muhammad Sherani, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor
Haidri and others represented JUI-F in the meeting.
PML-Q is passing through test and we hope its result will be favorable
for the party, he held. Several proposals are coming with reference to
formation of government in Balochistan and party leadership was
considering them seriously, he told.
No offer has been made for coalition government of PML-Q and JUI-F in
Balochistan, he informed. Talks process on formation of government in
Balochistan is moving ahead in positive manner, he added. PML-Q will
take every decision in the interest of province by taking all into
confidence, he added.
Maulana Muhammad Khan Sheerani and Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri said “It
is our desire that all the matters are resolved amicably in this
respect. Final decision will be announced within next two days in this
respect, he hinted.
President Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said
that talking about impeachment of President Pervez Musharraf and his
resignation are just a mad man’s dreams and unnecessary demands of PPP
and PML-N would not be accepted.
Talking to a delegation led by General Secretary PML-Q Sangla Hill Tariq
Saeed, the President PML-Q has said that it is the realty that President
Pervez Musharraf is a elected President for the duration of five years
and the confusion created by PPP and PML-N is not in the great interest
of the country.
Urging Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari to respect public mandate, the
PML-Q President has clarified that PML-Q would not create unnecessary
obstacles for new Government if it avoids to use negative tactics
against us.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that President Musharraf has fulfilled his
pledge to hold free and fair elections and also hinted to work with the
upcoming Government and the other side should also give positive
response. He clarified that we have accepted the Elections results
wholeheartedly.
