Aitzaz vows to follow BB’s legacy

GARHI KHUDA BUX—President of Supreme Court Bar Association, Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan has said that he will continue mission of Benazir Bhutto for provision of justice to masses.
He stated while talking to media after offering Fateha at Benazir Bhutto mausoleum here on Tuesday. Earlier, he offered Fateha and laid floral wreath at the graves of Benazir Bhutto, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Shahnawaz Bhutto and Murtaza Bhutto.
“I will continue her mission for dispensation of justice to masses as prosperity and democracy are linked with it,” he opined. He thanked media and masses to support lawyers struggle for independence of judiciary.
Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) president, Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan said that his not being able to pay respect to Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto by appearing at her last abode was like a big shock, which he felt greatly.
He said he was relieved of by offering `Fateha’ at the tomb, following his arrival here today after his release the confinement. Accompanied by lawyers and members of the civil society, Aitzaz Ahsan offered `Fateha’ at the tomb with tears rolling from his eyes, as he appeared completely overwhelmed by the sentiments,private TV channel GEO reported  —Agencies
