Japan pledges to increase aid after formation of new Govt

ISLAMABAD—Japanese Ambassador in Pakistan Seiji Kojima has said that Japan after establishing of new democratic Government in Pakistan would increase its grant to the country.
Talking to Central leader of Pakistan Peoples Party Chaudhary Ahmed Mukhtar here on Tuesday, the Japanese Ambassador in Pakistan said that his country wants strengthened democracy as well as strong economy in Pakistan.
The Japanese ambassador has said that the Japanese people value their relation with Pakistan and relation would be strengthened in all the sectors.
Commenting on the current political situation in Pakistan, the Japanese Ambassador has said that democracy is being strengthened in Pakistan and expressed his hope that PPP after formation of the Government would work for the development of Pakistan.
Meanwhile, talking to Online, Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar has expressed the hope that PPP after coming into power would strengthen Pakistan’s relation with all the countries and bilateral cooperation would also be enhanced in the different sectors, he added.
Terming the meeting with the Japanese Ambassador fruitful, he said that PPP after coming into power would further enhance relations with Pakistan.
Responding to a question regarding the establishment of 11 member Federal Cabinet by PPP, Chudhary Ahmed Mukhtar has termed such news baseless and unfounded and said that these are rumors. There is no such suggestion is under considered, added by PPP Central Leader.
Co-Chairman PPP, Asif Ali Zardari would announce the final decision after the consultations, which would be acceptable for all, he added.
Answering a question regarding the name of the next Prime Minister, Chaudhary Ahmed Mukhtar who defeated Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain in the recently held elections said that the strategy on the Federal and Provincial level is different.
