Six drowned as two launches collide

KARACHI—At least six persons drowned to death and four others were missing following a collision between two sea-going launches here on Sunday, police said. The names of the dead or missing were not known immediately, police further said. Investigators have left for the spot off Ibrahim Haidery village.
Nearly 10 people of a family are feared dead while seven others missing as a launch capsized near Docks area here on Sunday, according to the sources.
The launch was carrying 28 people. Three dead bodies have been recovered so far and seven others are still missing while 18 were rescued.
