Drive against beggars in full swing

ISLAMABAD—Drive against beggars is in full swing in the federal capital to curb this social evil keeping in view the security aspects in the prevailing law and order situation.During the drive, several professional beggars have been arrested by the police.
According to police sources, 13 beggars have been arrested by Koral, 18 by Margalla, 12 by Kohsar, 17 by Sabzimandi, 27 by Shalimar, eight by Abpara, seven each by Sihala and Industrial area police and some more arrested by Secretariat and Golra police. Sources told APP that all beggars were arrested from Industrial, residential areas and along traffic signals on different roads. —APP
