Polling on NA-37 Kurram agency to be held on 3rd

PARACHINAR—Assistant Election Commissioner Kurram, Sabir Khan has said that elections on NA-37 Kurram Agency would be held on March 3 (Monday). Talking to newsmen here on Friday, Assistant Election Commissioner Kurram said that the total number of registered voters in the constituency is 141190 out of which 78418 are male voters whereas 62772 are female voters. He said that 123 polling stations and 225 polling booths have been set-up for the elections. Moreover, he continued that 123 Presiding Officers, 225 Assistant Presiding Officers and 225 polling officers would perform their duty on the Election Day. He said that polling material would be sent to the respective polling stations on March 2 (Sunday). It is pertinent to mention here that elections were earlier postponed in the said constituency on February 18, last due to law and order situation and imposition of curfew in the area.
