NAB arrests land commission agent

Islamabad—The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested Muhammad Farooq Ansari, a land supplier and commission agent of the fake Bankers City Housing Scheme on Friday.
According to investigations carried out by NAB, the accused had indulged in the illegal business of obtaining commission and defrauded general public in the name of M/s Bankers City (Pvt) Ltd, which even did not exist on ground. He illegally swindled Rs.150 million of general public money.
It is pertinent to mention here that NAB has already arrested Syed Rahat Mehmood Qadri, Chief Executive, Muhammad Akhtar, ex-Director Marketing of Bankers City and are presently undergoing detention in the judicial lockup. NAB has filed Reference in the Accountability Court against the management of the Bankers City.—Agencies
