Tribes deny abducting envoy

KHYBER AGENCY—Malik Din and Jandha Khel tribes have vehemently rejected their alleged involvement in the abduction of Pakistan ambassador to Afghanistan Tariq Aziz-u-Din. In a Grand Jirga held on Thursday in the areas of Jamoot, the elders of both tribes demanded of political administration to point out the real culprit.
A large number of tribal elders attended the meeting to discuss about the abduction of ambassador. It is pertinent to note that the ambassador went missing when he was en route to Afghanistan through tribal areas of Pakistan.—Agencies
