5 killed over old enmity

PESHAWAR—Five persons including three brothers were killed during firing between two rival groups over old an enmity here at Gaga Wala in Badaber area on Wednesday, police said. The incident occurred when members of Molayan group came face-to-face with their rival Kujran group in Gaga Wala in the jurisdiction of Badabir police station. After exchange of hot words and physical brawl, they took out arms and started indiscriminate firing at each other that brought the instant death of five persons. Tahir son of Essa Khan, Awal Khan, Libas Khan and Firdous Khan sons of Malik Umara Khan from Molyan group and Gul Sher son of Shah Zamir from Gujran were killed during the two hours long shootout. Police rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area and registered a case against the accused and started investigation.—Online
