Rescue-15 to establish cyber crime unit

ISLAMABAD—Rescue-15 will soon establish a Cyber Crime Unit, a Sniffing Dogs Centre, a Counter for Laboratory Samples Collection, a Computer Training Centre and a Library to maximize the safety of masses aimed at people’s welfare. It was disclosed on Tuesday at the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed mosque at the Rescue-15, Islamabad, performed Inspector General of Police Shahid Nadeem Baloch. Baloch praised the spirit and zeal of the contributors who made it easy to build a mosque at Rescue-15 to facilitate the worshippers. He also appreciated the facility of providing laboratory tests at 30 to 50 percent discounted rates at Rescue-15 and hoped it will gain far reaching and fruitful results.
He also pleaded for community policing and emphasized the need for availing the technology assistance to check the crime. He expressed satisfaction over the performance of the Islamabad Police. The SSP Syed Kaleem Imam also spoke on the occasion and thanked the organizers for their credible assistance in launching the welfare-oriented projects at Rescue-15. The ceremony was attended among others by the Chief Coordinators of Public Conciliatory Committees, members of the Rescue-15 and representatives of the security agencies. Salient features of the watch guard vehicles and home security, fixed cameras performance and Walk through Gates were also demonstrated on the occasion.—Online
