Old enmity claims life in Chaman

CHAMAN—Unknown armed men shot dead a tribal elder, Syed Muhammad Shamshozai, due to old enmity in Segai area of district Qila Abdullah on Tuesday, police said. According to reports, Syed Muhammad was on his way to home when unidentified armed persons sprayed bullets on him. As a result he died on the spot. The assailants fled from the scene soon after the incident. Area police had registered the case and started search for the attackers.—Agencies
